nursing home facility. Includes the following; new site utilities,
asphalt paving, sidewalks, storm water retention, a 96 bed
capacity, physical therapy room, multiple activity areas, dining
room, institutional kitchen, staff office and conference area,
multiple nurse stations, shower and tub room facilities,
attractively decorated lobby with fireplace.

MERCY HOSPITAL ANDERSON OPEN HEART PROGRAM

This project was completed in multiple phases and involved
extensive renovation and new construction as required to
facilitate open heart surgery. All affected departments
remained in operation during the entire project. The cath
suite includes 2 new cath labs with new control room,
new staff breakroom, locker rooms and support areas,
new waiting room, nurse station and med rooms and 8
new prep/recovery patient rooms. The operating room suite includes
3 new state-of-the-art operating rooms, new pump room,
sub-sterile room and staff break room. The ICU suite
includes 5 new patient rooms, new reception/consult
area and waiting rooms. The completed project allows
Mercy Hospital Anderson to offer a level of cardiac care not
previously available in eastern Cincinnati.

This 9,680 SF medical office building features brick and stone
exterior wall, plenty of windows and a crawl space below. The
anchor tenant, Beckett Ridge Family Medicine includes 11
exam rooms, waiting/reception area with coffee bar, med
room and employee lounge. Other tenants include Beckett
Ridge Oral Enhancement, full service dental practice
featuring four treatment rooms. An identical building was later
constructed on the adjacent site. This building is currently
occupied by Ohio Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.

Extensive demolition and reconstruction of Level B-1 to create a new Step Down
Unit for the orthopedic department. This unit features 20 new patient rooms,
new nurse station, physical therapy room, staff break room, med room and
various offices. This project was completed in conjunction with the $ 1,400,000
surgery expansion which involved construction of 3 new state of the art
orthopedic operating rooms featuring Laminar Flow Air as well as a new family
waiting room.

MERCY HOSPITAL CLERMONT – ICU RENOVATION

Existing office build out on the third floor was demolished to allow for construction
of a new state of the art Intensive Care Unit. The new ICU includes 16 patient rooms – 4 of which are negative pressure rooms, a new nurse station, staff
lounge, visitor’s lounge, toilet rooms and all other ancillary rooms. A 3 story
building addition was also constructed. This addition includes a new elevator
and stairwell and provides convenient access from the ICU to the floors below.
In order to allow for more natural light in the patient rooms, larger windows
were cut into the exterior walls.
